What is Wine Italy Connect and what will the fair be like:

The excellence of Italian wine meets the South American market.

Wine Italy Connect is an exclusive and highly strategic trade fair designed to be the privileged meeting point between Italian wine producers and the leading buyers in the South American market.

For the first time, an event of this scale is dedicated specifically to Italian producers, offering a unique platform to develop new commercial opportunities, strengthen brand positioning, and enter high-potential markets.

At the core of Wine Italy Connect is the creation of a direct and qualified channel between excellence-driven producers and reference buyers. Our objective is to enable concrete commercial collaborations while reducing cultural and bureaucratic barriers that often slow down access to international markets.

We aim to offer Italian wineries not only visibility, but a true strategic bridge to South America.

Market expansion

Market expansion

Brazil continues to expand demand for imported wines, creating room for labels with higher perceived value.

In the official Comex Stat/MDIC series for SH4 heading 2204, Brazil’s imported value rose from US$ 371.7 million in 2019 to US$ 523.4 million in 2024, up 40.8% in five years, and reached US$ 558.7 million in 2025.

This growth combines scale, portfolio diversification, and stronger openness to premium origins — a particularly favorable scenario for Italian wineries looking to enter or expand distribution in the country.

The series also shows continuity: after the jump from 2019 to 2024, the market grew again in 2025, reinforcing the strategic timing for new commercial agreements.
